A split system is only as good as how it's put together. The outdoor unit, the line set connecting it to the indoor equipment, the furnace, the coil - every piece has a job to do. When any one of those components is installed sloppily, you feel it. Inconsistent temps, higher energy bills, shortened equipment life. That's the stuff no one wants to deal with.

We went with a Lennox 5 ton split system on this one. Lennox builds solid equipment - reliable, efficient, and designed to handle the full range of heating and cooling demands. The outdoor condenser is set level on a clean concrete pad, positioned away from obstructions so airflow isn't restricted. That matters more than people think. A unit that can't breathe freely works harder than it needs to.

The line set routing is where a lot of installers cut corners. We wrapped and ran it clean, making sure the insulation is tight and properly taped at every connection point. The copper lines and refrigerant connections are neatly terminated at the service valves on the outdoor unit. No loose ends, no sloppy bends. On the indoor side, the Lennox furnace is set up with the evaporator coil stacked above it and the flue transition fitted properly into the exhaust run. Everything is squared up and secured.

Getting a system like this right from day one means fewer service calls down the road. It also means the equipment runs at the efficiency ratings it was actually designed to hit - not some degraded version of them because of a rushed install. That's the whole point of going with quality equipment in the first place.

This is the kind of HVAC installation work we do. Clean, methodical, and built to perform for the long haul. Whether it's a new build, a replacement, or an upgrade, we put the same level of care into every component of the system.
