Here's what we were working with - an older split system that had clearly run its course. The outdoor condenser was opened up, refrigerant lines disconnected, and the indoor furnace was fully stripped out and ready to come down. That furnace closet tells the story well. Years of wear, exposed wiring, and components that were long overdue for retirement. When a system gets to this point, repairs stop making sense.

We pulled everything out and went in with a Lennox 5-ton 2-stage split system. The 2-stage part matters more than most people realize. A single-stage system is either running full blast or it's off - that's it. A 2-stage unit runs at a lower capacity most of the time, only ramping up to full power when conditions actually call for it. That means more consistent temperatures throughout your home, less humidity, and lower energy bills over time.

The new Lennox outdoor condenser is sitting clean and level right where the old unit was. The new Lennox furnace in the closet is a completely different picture from what we pulled out - properly vented, neatly piped, and installed with the kind of attention to detail that makes future maintenance straightforward. No guesswork, no shortcuts.

A system like this is a long-term investment in your home's comfort and efficiency. When your current setup is struggling to keep up - running constantly, cycling on and off, leaving hot spots in certain rooms - that's usually a sign it's working harder than it should just to keep pace. A properly sized replacement puts an end to all of that.

We do this kind of HVAC installation work regularly and take the same approach every time - right equipment, right installation, right result. If your system is showing its age, we're worth a conversation.
