Here's what a full split system replacement actually looks like from start to finish. We pulled out an aging Carrier system - condenser, air handler, all of it - and swapped in a brand new Lennox Elite setup. The old equipment had run its course. When a system starts costing more to keep alive than it's worth, replacement is the smarter call.

The outdoor pad was cleared and prepped for the new Lennox condenser. Getting the pad situation right matters more than most people realize - a level, stable surface keeps the unit running properly and protects the refrigerant lines and connections over the long haul. We also worked through the interior side, pulling the old air handler and getting the new Lennox furnace set up in the garage with proper venting, gas line connection, and condensate drainage all sorted out.

One thing worth pointing out - a split system replacement isn't just swapping one box for another. There's the electrical, the refrigerant lines, the flue venting, the drain lines, and making sure everything talks to each other correctly. Cut corners on any one of those and you'll pay for it down the road. We don't cut corners.

The Lennox Elite series is a solid choice for homeowners who want reliable performance without overpaying. Better efficiency ratings mean lower monthly energy costs compared to an older system that's been limping along. If your current system is cycling too often, struggling to keep up, or just racking up repair bills - those are usually the signs it's time to have a real conversation about replacement.
