Here's what a clean split system install looks like from top to bottom. We put in a Lennox 3-ton 2-stage system for a homeowner who was done dealing with inconsistent comfort and a unit that just couldn't keep up anymore. Getting the right system sized correctly for the home - that's where it all starts.
The indoor side is tight. The Lennox furnace is set up neatly in the utility closet alongside the water heater, with flue pipe, gas line, and electrical all routed cleanly. Nothing sloppy, nothing crammed in. Every connection has a purpose and every line is where it should be.
Outside, the condenser is sitting level on a solid pad with line sets and electrical runs done properly along the wall. A 2-stage unit like this one isn't just about cooling - it's about how it cools. Instead of always running at full blast, it adjusts output based on what the home actually needs at any given time. That translates to fewer humidity swings, quieter operation, and less wear on the system overall.
Lennox equipment is built to perform, but the install quality is what determines whether you actually get that performance. A mismatched system, an oversized unit, or a rushed setup can wipe out most of the efficiency gains before you ever flip the thermostat. We take the time to make sure everything is dialed in correctly from day one.
This homeowner is set up well heading into the hottest part of the year. Better comfort, better efficiency, and a system they can count on for a long time. That's the goal every time we do an HVAC installation.
