A full system replacement isn't just swapping out equipment - it's rebuilding the whole thing right. That's exactly what this job was. We installed a complete 5-ton heat pump split system, including brand-new custom ductwork run through the attic. Every piece of this system was put in with the same goal: clean airflow from one end of the house to the other.
Attic work is no joke. Tight spaces, poor lighting, awkward angles - our crew was up there doing it right anyway. Fabricating and fitting custom ductwork in conditions like that takes patience and skill. When the ductwork is built and routed correctly, the whole system performs better. Rooms heat and cool evenly, the equipment doesn't overwork itself, and you're not throwing money away on energy bills.
Outside, the Lennox outdoor unit was set, charged, and tested properly - digital manifold gauges hooked up to dial in the refrigerant charge. That step matters more than most people realize. An improperly charged system will run, but it won't run efficiently. Getting it right from the start protects the equipment and keeps operating costs down.
The line set and electrical were routed cleanly along the exterior wall with a white line hide cover - a small detail, but it's part of doing the job right. No messy exposed lines, no shortcuts. That's what a real HVAC installation looks like, and it's the standard we hold ourselves to on every job.
